The Monday Musts | June 13, 2016

It’s Monday and that means it’s time for The Monday Musts! The Monday Musts is a weekly meme hosted by Jessica at Lovin’ Los Libros in which we talk about our must reads, must listens, and must sees of the week!

Must Reads

Well, folks, preview performances for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child have opened and with it come the reviews rolling in. My favorite non-spoiler-y review comes from Hypable, of course. Hypable has done a really good job of giving us fans enough hints of non major plot points (I assume) to keep us hooked while not giving away too much. In their review they talk about acting and plot, while still not actually giving away the plot. They say the play is definitely different than they expected, but not at all bad. Check out the review for yourself!

Must Listen

This week’s must listen is “Famous” by Charli XCX. This is just a fun, bouncy, upbeat song and I love it! It’s just so danceable! (my computer is telling me that “danceable” is not actually a word, but I contend that it totally is!)

Must See

Have you not seen The Flash (which airs on The CW and Netflix)? No? Come closer, my friend, let me convert you. *beckons you closer*

But seriously. Watch the show. It’s young, it’s fresh, it’s fun, you’ll love it, trust me. The show is the story of Barry Allen, a young crime scene investigator, who gains the power of superspeed after being struck by lightning. Barry uses his power of speed to become a crime fighting superhero, with the help of his lovable team of geeks (I say “geek” with an insane amount of love, as I, myself, am in fact a major geek!).
